چکیده

Without use of pathintegral formalism a composite particle effective dynamics is developed for spinor quantum electrodynamics. By algebraic evaluation of spinor quantum electrodynamics in Coulomb gauge a corresponding functional equation is derived. The commutation rules for the transversal electromagnetic field can be deduced as a consequence of this formalism. By application of weak mapping theorems the Q E D functional equation can be mapped onto a functional equation for composite particles with mutual interaction and interaction with the electromagnetic field. The formalism is demonstrated for positronium states. The incorporation of renormalization into this scheme is verified.

Application of quantum technology in radars

In this paper, the use of quantum technology in the radar system and the advantages of these radars as compared to classical radars have been analyzed. In the beginning, briefly, we present the basic structure of the theory of quantum electrodynamics, and then the role of photon in this theory and photon interactions is presented.  In the next step, the most general form of the quantum radar cr...

The Feynman Variational Principle in the Worldline Representation of Field Theory

Following Feynman’s treatment of the non-relativistic polaron problem, similar techniques are used to study relativistic field theories: after integrating out the bosonic degrees of freedom the resulting effective action is formulated in terms of particle trajectories (worldlines) instead of field operators. The Green functions of the theory are then approximated variationally on the pole of th...

Physics 523 , Quantum Field Theory II Homework

Superficially, this theory will diverge very similarly to quantum electrodynamics because the fields and the coupling constant have the same dimensions as in quantum electrodynamics. Therefore, we see that the superficial divergence is given by D = 4L − 2Pφ − Pe where L represents the number of loops and Pφ and Pe represent the number of pseudo-scalar and fermion propagator particles, respectiv...

Dynamical evolution of nonclassical properties in cavity quantum electrodynamics with a single trapped ion

In this paper, by considering a system consisting of a single two-level trapped ion interacting with a single-mode quantized radiation field inside a lossless cavity, the temporal evolution of the ionic and the cavity-field quantum statistical properties including photon-counting statistics, quantum fluctuations of the field quadratures and quantum fluctuations of the ionic dipole variables are...
